Glass Mirrors Are Heavy and Dangerous – Why Bother?

Glass Mirrors Are Heavy and Dangerous...LiteMirrors Aren't

Here’s the fact:

More than 20,000 people are treated in U.S. emergency departments each year for injuries associated with mirrors and mirror glass. That’s according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS), Product Code 4004 — Mirrors or Mirror Glass.

So, with that said, why would anyone want to use glass mirrors when they don’t have to?

LiteMirror is glass-free and shatterproof and does everything glass does — but better. It’s safer, easier, lighter, prettier, distortion-free and can even be portable.

People ask us all the time: Who buys LiteMirror? Where are they being installed?

The answer is simple: Everyone. Everywhere.

Everyone needs — or wants — a mirror for one reason or another. Maybe it’s for a decorative touch, to brighten a room or restaurant.  Or for an immersive museum, or to make sure you’re looking as gorgeous as you should be or to watch yourself working out, or to train for golf, baseball, dance or even dressage.... anything else?  Of course - so many reasons!

So yes — everyone needs or wants a mirror.

But why buy glass?

It’s heavy. It can break. It can distort. And it’s generally a permanent installation — until, of course, it falls. Then it may become a trip to the hospital.

I know. That sounds a little morbid.  But we’re just stating the facts.

Still not sure?  Buy a sample. See and feel the difference for yourself, and we’ll apply the cost of the sample toward your final order.

And don’t forget — LiteMirror comes in tons of sizes, colors and shapes. Add backlighting, a frame, or make it mobile with wheels. 😄

In other words, your mirror doesn’t have to be boring, heavy, dangerous or made of glass.

The next time you see a glass mirror, think of our feather logo.

LiteMirror is the lighter lift.
